RESEARCH
Ms. Laura Petrossiantz began her professional career at the Environmental Law Research Center of the Faculty of Law, YSU as a junior research fellow in 2012. Currently she combines research work with studying at the program to obtain MA Degree in Law. As a graduate student she is going to protect MA theses entitled "The civil litigation with participation of a foreign element".
Laura Petrossiantz’s research interests' range includes:
- Problems of Legal Regulation of the Access to Environmental Information;
- Civil Protection of the Material Rights of the Foreign Element;
- Legal Regulation of the Environmental Impact Assessment.
Ms. Petrossiantz is actively involved “Environmental Protection Law Center” NGO activites. She also assists carrying out the activites of the Students Council of the Faculty of Law and is a member of the Armenian Lawyers Association.

Today, the candle lighting in memory of the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide was organized in the foyer of YSU main building.
25 higher educational institutions founded in Yekaterinburg the University League of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
April 22 is The Earth Day, so the environmentalists once again raised the environmental issues.
The presentation of the book “If we remain silent, the stones would cry out” was held at YSU today. It is based on the memories of the Genocide survivor Hrachya Gevorgyan.
On April 6-12 YSU students participated in the International Youth Forum “Lomonosov 2014”.
