RESEARCH AND LECTURING
Since the establishment (2008) of the Environmental Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law, YSU, Ms. Heghine Hakhverdyan has been emplyed as a research fellow. Beginning from 2010 and to present she also works at the Chair of Civil Procedure of the Faculty of Law as a lecturer.

OTHER ACTIVITY
Since 2008 Ms. Heghine Hakhverdyan as a legal expert has been involved in a number of research projects (UNDP, FAO, OSCE, ENPI-FLEG) on the actual issues of environmental law.
Beginning from 2010 Ms. Heghine Hakhverdyan as a lecturer of environmental law is involved in requalification courses of civil servants conducted by the Divison of Postgraduate supplementary education of YSU and Civil Service Council of Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Since 01 July, 2011 Ms. Hakhverdyan has been elected by the Meeting of the Parties to the Aarhus Convention to serve as a member of the Compliance Committe for 6-year term.

Today, the candle lighting in memory of the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide was organized in the foyer of YSU main building.
25 higher educational institutions founded in Yekaterinburg the University League of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
April 22 is The Earth Day, so the environmentalists once again raised the environmental issues.
The presentation of the book “If we remain silent, the stones would cry out” was held at YSU today. It is based on the memories of the Genocide survivor Hrachya Gevorgyan.
On April 6-12 YSU students participated in the International Youth Forum “Lomonosov 2014”.
