Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention) meeting of the parties will take place on June, 2013 in Maastricht where Armenia is going to represent 4th National Implementation report of the Convention.
On October 21 at the Yerevan Aarhus Center took place Second Discussion of the Draft of the 4th National Implementation Report.
The project has been included comments and suggestions of the environmental sector government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.
The participants were NGOs and the representatives from the Ministry of Natural protection of RA, Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RA, Ministry of Finance of RA , Ministry of Health of RA.
The participants expressed their attitudes towards the report, in particular Article 6 and Article 9 of the Convention.
Proposals and the changes in a writing form should be sent to the National Coordinator of the Aarhus Convention, before November 1, to be included in the text of report.
